Ok this is definitely a good album, nonetheless the first half almost ruined it for me.
The opener, for example, while being a decent song it can't hold a candle to others such as The Sorrow of Sophia, Cry of Silence and A Scenary of Loss, just to name a few. Don't think there are enough good parts in it that justify its almost 8 minutes. The same can be applied to the Face of God, which just drags and drags.
Aenima is another one that left a sour taste in my mouth. The guest singer turned the track almost into a lifeless Swallow the Sun song.
The Monochromatic Blade, I Gave You Wings and Cold Heavens, on the other hand are incredible tracks and worhty additions to the band's legacy.

Another banger album, falls just short of UAGV. Even though I like Heike's voice more, I feel like Lisa's dramatic style suits the genre even better, if that makes sense. Either way they are both top tier vocalists.

Seriously though I'm completely absorbed by this. It came right when I needed it the most in my life so it hit differently than a "regular album."
Even those three songs I wasn't completely on board with they're getting stronger and stronger.
