thought this was an aoty contender when i first spun this, but its not holding up very well on repeat listens.
lots of bangers for sure but there are just too many tracks (particularly in the second half) where her vocals are a non-factor and there isn't much to chew on past the cool sound design.
dance, beat up channels, crank, gas station, yes god, brittany murphy will be on repeat all year tho

nah haha sabrina's sound is a far more abba/country flavor of pop though i do kinda see the similarities in presentation
charli xcx would be a way closer comp if you're looking for something similar. wouldn't say her music is as aggressive as a lot of this is tho

This is pretty meh to me.. I'm not a really knowledgeable on electronic music but I enjoyed Brat quite a bit and U from Underscores is probably one of my favorite album this year. Went into this expecting something similar but it's not really doing it for me.

yeah it might be a more agresive version of brat sound-wise, but theme-wise it's very diferent, it doesn't surprise me that people can enjoy one but not the other
