jeff has such a knack for writing interesting and unconventional choruses that are still somehow really catchy.

It's like, a very original combination of straight forward hardcore anger with some hidden woudedness and doom. Definitely something special here.

“ It's like, a very original combination of straight forward hardcore anger with some hidden woudedness and doom. ”
Accurate. It’s that hardcore anger with a dose of aging existential crisis. And def has the doom-y vibe in the sound, as well as the lyrics.

Thought they sounded amazing last night even with Jeff's aged vocals. They put some extra sauce on the mosh parts for the new tracks and they hit even harder. Also they played my fav PtW song "Loved Ones" right before "Nerdy"

I just love the fact PTW have released a new album!
The songs are still sinking in (bar the three singles/music video tracks released prior to the album). Highlights so far for me are Thoroughbreds, Everything hurts, Drifting without end and Plague them the most. Extremely solid album, it possibly tops The Tropic Rot. Versions is the one that means the most to me, oddly enough because I was disappointed with it at first (the demos left off it make it even better), YCBY still their finest hour IMO.

Album is still growing on me. Phenomenal album m/
