parts of this are fantastic, parts made me want to beat everyone involved to death, and many of these parts are intertwined in the same song
but then i learned several are already dead, so maybe it's poetic like that, and i'm just being a cunt, not fully appreciating the concept without this added context
dam..n......
musically 3.6-3.7

Really loving The Manifesto at the moment, albums been a bit of a slow burner but I'm warming to it.

Nice review and cool album art… I think I’ve heard a grand total of 3 Gorillaz songs so maybe I’ll jump in with this record

I'm basically in the same boat honestly and this was a fun album. Eventually I'll go back and listen to more of their old stuff other than the singles I suppose.

Black Thought really is the highlight on this album. Kills it every song he’s on

Holy shieet a decent Gorillaz record?? for the first time since Demon Days? guacamole!
I may be biased because of the sitar... but yea this is gud. Fun and mellow. Took 'em awhile. I now rank their records as:
Gorillaz > Demon Days > The Mountain > Plastic Beach
