i mean both are bad and i really don't want to defend renegades but it was clear the dudes were being very tongue in cheek and fun about it, even if it were a goofy mess that i never want to return to
this is just... man, it's nauseating hearing such hollow cheesy bombast with the super serious tone. i cannot think of a single redeeming quality of this album - vapid from start to finish. genuinely makes my skin crawl from cringe when i listen to it. it's hard to describe but it legitimately makes me uncomfortable from second-hand embarrassment.
