I will say I've been thinking about the fact that only understanding English and a small amount of Spanish gives me a myopic world view and limits my ability to appreciate the beauty and diversity of this world. I don't know exactly what this language argument is about or what point people are trying to make, but I do think language hardwires certain ways of thinking into a person

Has anyone talked about how incredible this album artwork is yet? I had it full size on my computer screen as I was listening yesterday and it's so good. One of the best in recent memory that I can think of. I have a friend who used to photograph people quite a lot and he would love this shit.

I will argue as someone who is multilingual and attempst to write stuff on several different languages that making things “make sense” on multiple languages can be extremely complex, i would not put that down as anything other than impressive if not for the fact alone that she pulled it off

It's not so much that it's not impressive. It's that the number of languages spoken isn't why this album was impressive, IMO

It just has a massive sound, the production here is perfect mixed with the amazing vocals. I haven't jammed much of this type of music, but I agree that music lovers of all kinds can find the beauty in this. Just my opinion of course lol.
