sure but unlike kendrick danny tried something different here and i find it odd more people aren't praising him for that alone. that's usually all it takes for simpletons-as long as the idea is different and unique the outcome doesn't matter. he's getting soft kid cudi treatment, it's good to see but i wish it would happen more often

Oh, for sure. Danny definitely deserves credit for branching out. I respect what he's doing here, it's just not my vibe. I'd like to hear him go into a full on dark industrial sound instead of this hyperpop shit. Would suit his style perfectly imo.
