In the run from Pirut to Wayhome, Ice Fleet might be their weakest, but all of those records minus Ice Fleet are 4.5's for me. The only reason I haven't 5'd one of them is because I can't choose between Pirut, Sorni Nai, Kaiho, and now Wayhome lol

It's really the last 3 songs that are the standout I think. It takes a while to get there, and the payoff is great, but not on par with albums like Sorni Nai and Kaiho. It has some very stiff competition.

Yeah I get it. Also just read your review finally, good stuff! This album definitely has a more uplifting characteristic to it. Wistful, nostalgic, yet peaceful and reflective for the most part. I listened to it for the first time Friday morning on headphones laying in bed while the sun was just coming up, and the light was cracking through the blinds. It was one of those listening experiences where the music lined up perfectly with my place in time and just hit the spot. Still great on repeated listens as well.
