Those two tracks back-to-back to open the album is just sensory overload.

First time hearing Testament, was planning on checking some earlier records soon but let's just start with this. Intro to track 1 already goes hard, nice

They're a lesser known thrash act but they're one of the best in the business - for consistency alone.

I absolutely love it, I think its the best thrash album I have listened to in years.

As much as I do enjoy the opening track especially - Shadow People as well, and generally all of them to a lesser extent, I don't know, I can see the love for it from many, but end of the day for me, it's not super memorable and I just find I get a little bored with it?
I think it's better than their last couple albums for sure, and it's probably their most consistent in a while too, having found the last few patchy.
I just don't have the attention span for this style, I'm glad they threw in a ballad in to mix it up but unfortunately it wasn't that great. Nothing like Trail of Tears.
I think I just prefer the slightly groovier edge of Testament, but like I said the last two just didn't have the songs.
Good to see a lot of people loving it though.
