Is this the jam band or is that Goose? I never remember who is who

this whole thing is so catchy and consistent. not really wild about the title track but the rest is money

The album closer is wild!

The balance in styles is what makes this. I love the weirder heavier stuff as well as the pretty uplifting moments.
Am I the only one who thinks the singer sounds a little like Jeff Mangum from Neutral Milk Hotel?

He sounds like he’s going for something not too far from Mangum…but his actual voice is very different!

Agreed. I just thought it was more fitting than the Thom Yorke comparisons but I could be wrong.

This was a solid listen but it just didn't really grip me. Maybe it'll grow on me after a few more listens. Lots of interesting stuff on this though.

That moment in Long Island City where he sings, “ Like Charlamagne in Vietnam/Until I come home, I am not anyone” and they’re just slamming on the keys, pure magic. One of my favourite moments in music from 2025

Glad to see so many people digging this. It's just...different, and such a breath of fresh air.

I'm enjoying this, but can't help thinking about how much better 3D Country is. It feels like something's missing here but I'm not sure what.
|

3D Country is more of a high octane, rollicking kind of album. this is more of an evolution of the sound Cameron had on his solo album
|
| |
Hey what are you listening to?
Oh just geese getting killed

Will check though

You have no idea how weird I felt searching for information about this album prior to its release

I definitely prefer the direction of the solo album and this to '3D Country' - not that that's not an excellent album.
This stuff and last year's solo have classic potential though.

This is my introduction to the artist. Def get some Thom Yorke vibes. Overall love the whole package but the bookends are the ones I’m most into atm
