Down II is pretty bangin' too. Not as good as this, but still really solid. Haven't heard Down III yet. I heard there is a possibility that a Down IV will drop in 2010. If so, then awesome

Down III was was good, but ill go with Nola and II before it. So glad to see Nola getting so much love as this album was overlooked for years here.

It took me a while to get into III but after a few listens I liked it a lot more than II. I just really dig the southern sound

Down's Nola is another gem from a great period of rock/metal grooves and blues in the 90's. For those who haven't, you must check out other like releases from the 90's: Karma To Burn (self-titled), Floodgate (Penalty), C.O.C, Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Fu Manchu etc.
