Oak Lace Apparition is stellar, surprised there wasn’t dulcimer on this but maybe he wanted to keep the projects separate in that sense.

Lol Mental Shed is nowhere near as bad as Two Virgins, cmoooon

Y’all check this new album out. New weirdo metal album that name drops maudlin as an influence. Jammed three times and enjoyed it more on each listen

I really don't know how to feel about this album. I was excited until I heard the singles, then any hype I had died. After hearing the full album, I really enjoy Automatic Writing (even though it is too long) and Blind Creature of Slime. Oracle by Severed Head is ok and the other songs do nothing for me, but I think I would have preferred this to be an EP with just the final 2 songs.

Okay everybody gather around and listen to that Sallow Moth record it’s legit fucking amazing. I’ve listened to it five times today and I think it’s easily a top 10 record this year.

Ooooh will listen this afternoon

On another note, I got the EREHTUR (bad acronym) Vinyl today and it looks very pretty. However there are 2 spelling errors in the lyrics for Automatic Writing (unless it is intentional).

As such I demand a full refund and a pint of Toby's blood as compensation.

It seems intentional. There are several "typos", all of which are missing the letter I in a song that seems to be increasingly about the loss of self through grief. The writer in Automatic Writing seems to lose the will to live as the song progresses, which could also be why the song increments in zeros. Different stages of his grief.

That Sallow Moth record is quite an interesting mixture of elements. The influences stated in the official page are very palatable during the whole LP and they are great. I need to give it more spins to analyze the cohesion cause it was a bit too mad on the first spin.
