Excellent album, their best by a mile. Love how succint it is, every song is memorable and yeah Mark is killing it, his performance on Seed of the Night is incredible.

Yeah, compared to albums like morbid angels blessed are the sick I just find them a bit bright. My headphones are kind of bright though. Right now I’m listening to this through my hifi for the first time and I’m absolutely loving the album though. Getting the same vibes I had when I first heard the almanac

Yes the almanac blew me away too, it was such a breath of fresh air compared to all the other stuff I was listening to at the time. I kind of went off these guys for a few years though, I didn’t really connect with their other albums, but I’m really feeling this one.
