Yeah, it feels like this time around Tobias actually trusted his musicians again - Per is incredible throughout this album, as is the keyboardist and drummer.

yeah that about where I’m at. Hoping Tobias got all of the 80’s hair metal cliches out of his system because I want more of that early shit.

And De Profundis Borealis is a real dark horse. That song fucking rules, guitar leads across the whole song are absolutely perfect. And the piano intro is gorgeous, I’d have really loved if it went on for like a full minute, I kinda miss the little intermissions on this record. That intro deserved a little more time to really go on imo
