tbh i think everything these guys have done in both isole and ereb altor is extremely underrated - some of the most consistent dudes in metal over the past what, 15 years. they've made some incredible records in both bands and they're one of the few bands doing the whole viking metal thing that i still dig even today.

glad I circled back on this, as dreary as the cover is it's pretty up beat and as you noted in review bouyant with its guitar leads and rousing vocals. only qualm would be those vocal melodies can tend to blend together across songs though Traldom really does stand out yeah. good call on the bonus tracks thanks
Have heard the debut as a genre staple when was looking for Epic Doom+Viking love that. also want to jam some of the rest of the discog, see how much sounds like this or is differentiable.
Old Corpse Road does look cool Hawks, and yea Noctus never regret putting on an Isole record when the mood hits
