I’m still getting over the ballsiness of a 35-minute odyssey being the penultimate track on a 10-track album. Damn near 10 minutes longer than Sarmat and that release is just one track lol

It feels like an album within an album. I'm not sure if both are necessary, it is pretty long lol. I guess the shorter songs prime you for the journey, it's not like there's an abundance of other bands doing woodwind grindcore.

new one is somehow his most conventional (if you can even describe music like this as conventional) but at the same time his most adventurous. the addition of the synths/flutes really adds a fun new dimension.

It sounds like previous albums were leading up to it, the bathtub suicide one (lol) feels like a prototype in hindsight. It's like it all meshes together in a way that encourages further listening, there's push and pull between structure and chaos that's addictive.

Cursed Conception and Unbidden I would say are on par with the debut. Cursed Conception is probably my fave - that one has a sense of humor about it that really stands out. Can’t really go wrong with any of their stuff tho, it’s all at the very least interesting
