Oh of course someone brings up Tom weaponizing his death. You do know you're who Seeing Red is about right?

Tom wrote songs, the band can't really match that now, that's all they said

lsitened through this morning and it was fine radio metal. Some fun tracks, some cringey stuff. Several of the tracks did just sound like jordan fish/bmth/poppy

i generally didn't dislike my time with this but honestly i'm to the point where i just, this sound is so saturated and i wish these bands would try to do something fresher. this metalcore/alt-metal hybrid was a lot cooler a few years ago, but how much more can we really get out of this?

this is a bit more palatable than their last two (low bar i know..) - there are some fun moments on here. probably a 3.1/5 if i had admin powers. i feel like sam's voice sounded more powerful on aog and holy hell?

also evil eyes is cool

Kinda funny that so much is trying to appeal to radio, because the worst part is the songwriting.

He struggles with anxiety now which fucks with your voice pretty bad.

Evil Eyes' chorus melody sounds like House of Protection's Fuse. Both are produced by Fish. Hard not to notice obvious patterns between all of Fish's productions. Not that I dislike what he does, but he makes the bands sound almost homogenous at times.

Elegy is a great track, but the rest doesn't do it for me. And yeah, the earlier comment about Tom is extremely disrespectful.

Evil Eyes really is the only track on here that I can consider decent, and I guess the track after isn't too bad but the rest is just unbearable same old shitty modern metalcore

The problem mainly is that Architects just becomes worse and worse. If this was the debut by some new band it would've been just OK, for Architects this is far below their already low standard...

This really just sounds like a bottom-tier Fish record, nothing really catchy and it all feels extremely empty, the overly glossy production really does not help. Indeed, Sam sounds quite weak but I think that is mainly due to the vocal production.
