Great review Manatea! Had a great time with this record as well and the variety present for 23 minutes is pretty radical. The vinyl for this also sounds amazing, they did a great job with the production and mix side of things.

Surprising short but surprisingly decent. Stress is a highlight for me and the melodies throughout are really solid.

This shit is gonna end up being a 44 minute "double album".

this is okay, but getting way over-hyped. It is around the level of Dead Reflection and I cant help but think its primarily getting hyped cus the last couple albums stunk.

yeah i think if this dropped in place of beautiful place of drown, it would probably be viewed as their weakest outside of arrivals

Seeing this review made me go check out the album, and I was really impressed. This is the best Silverstein has sounded in ages, at least after a few listens no track's a dud. Very well written review on your end too

Its definitely not their best since waterfront or anything but it's nice to hear good Silverstein again after so long.

This is the best Silverstein has sounded since 2017*

Honestly, crazy to think that is 8 years ago.. so I suppose this is a nice achievement!

Die Alone off their last album proved to me the boys still had it.

Tbf i skipped misery made me after how bleak the purple album was.

Id have to jam dead reflections again but I remember thinking it was solid too but as a follow up to i am alive it was kind of disappointing as well.

die alone and the altar are worth circling back to if you dug this. those two make decent sub ins for the weaker songs here

Those songs are good but they just sound like a different band at that point. When I want a heavy silverstein a song like born dead comes to mind.
