I did kinda enjoy "Silence" just cuz ADTR ripping off Gojira is so out of left field lol

And yeah like every song on this album has lyrics that feel like pandering to the younger generation. Make it make sense.. give him your flowers.. ah shit here we go again..

I liked "Silence" and "Same Team". I also liked "Miracle" when it came out as generic as it is.

Fuck it, I'm actually having fun listening to this. Would I rather listen to something like What Separates? Sure, but this is not as bad as I had been told it was.

I think the tragically terrible Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco album might be better than this garbage.

Silence is such a Gojira rip-off but I love it. Jeremy does a pretty fantastic Duplantier impression.

All My Friends would have been huge in 2010.

All My Friends sounds like Bilmuri could have written it and it would probably sound better with Johnny's vocals on it. Not really feeling any repeat spins on this one, just a very in one ear and out the other type album.

Need a few more listens, but definitely agree "Flowers" is good stuff, as well as a few others. The whole album's still got some duds, but it's already much better than both 'You're Welcome' and 'Bad Vibrations'.

I fucking hate this band so much

Better than You're Welcome, a bar so low James Cameron had to find it. All things considered though... This sucks too.

Band has sucked for a decade. They're achieving historic levels of self parody at this point

I really wish they would have kept going with the er um...vibes of Bad Vibrations. Exposed, Reassemble, Bullfight and the title track all worked really well and I enjoyed the direction of the album overall. Instead they went and did a total 180 and put out one of the worst albums from a band I enjoyed. Now they're stuck somewhere in the middle and I'm not sure they're gonna find a way out.

One of my biggest issues and piss offs with the band is outside of the shift with Your welcome. These guys havent changed or evolved much at all, they have just stagnated and coasted along on the sound they have had since Homesick.
Also hearing that the band was essentially given scraps/songs from other bands for this album makes me think they themselves cant write anything anymore. Collabs are great and awesome when its collabaritive not another dude walking in and doing most of the work for you

Im pretty sure they got handed the BMTH esque song from Sykes. I think the album art with everyone in the scene on it is meant to be a tie in that they had a lot of help writing this. Putney helped with silence. I cant remember fully, sonically this is fine i guess but everything else surrounding the band and the release of the album is just off puttting for me
