i think that's why it feels slapped together on a riff-by-riff basis to me. i've listened to this a lot since my last comment and it's growing on my exponentially.

i will say that of the dethmasks, this might be my favorite one. but that has a lot to do with the fact that they aren't following the heavy/ambient/heavy/ambient track pattern on this one. it feels less disjointed as a whole.

i will say though, whoever they got to do the intro thing is awesome. i feel like i walk around with that first "yes, yes! hello, hello" just living rent free in my head haha
