i just dont think "too overhyped" is enough for a 1 ig, if you can separate your opinion from the hype and still find it that bad then sure

I'm glad to see that people have been normal about this review. Anyways, "poseur metal" is worth an instant neg

I've stated my own opinion enough on this album tbh. It's just funny to see that we're STILL having this conversation months later

"poseur metal" -> instant pos.

EDIT: would be instant pos except that it's spelled incorrectly!

technically, phil's spelling is correct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poseur

that is as much as I'm giving this straight-out-of-pitchfork metal elitist

I don't think we're the wimps, judging by this comment...

This album is offensively overhyped hence the 1. The 3 was always just circumvent intense backlash but it obviously didn't work.

You're so moronic it physically hurts.

At what point do we say "Hey, maybe we've had the same conversation about this album one too many times?"

Albums fun, scratches the modern metalcore itch for me. Im here for Poppy doing whatever mad shit she chooses to. EAT is her best work tbh. Is it groundbreaking? Fuck no but its still more enjoyable than a metalcore trying to waterdown orjam shit pop into their sound. Everything off this record is leagues better than whatever the fuck that ladt Spiritbox single was and better than Sleeptoken's last record

I can't really take Phil's review on this remotely seriously when he gave 14 Sacred Words a 3 and defended its "free speech" lmao

Spiritbox is better than sleeptoken.i was mainly pointing out that really hyper clean almost sterile spiritbox single they dropped a few months ago

"sputnik tells u 3.0 is good :^)"

To be honest, I think a 3/5 out of really is just a "good" album. Nothing great, nothing spectacular! I'd change it from good to alright though. 3.5 to me is pretty decent and the 4's and higher wordings are fine in my opinion
