If this band were to open up the song structures and lean into and expand those post rocky builds I bet this band could crank out another classic.

But that being said, they’re allowed to rest on their laurels when they made dead horse, parting the sea, and most of all, stage four.

This album is so consistent. Could see this becoming a 4.5. Basically every single song is excellent.

Man, I'm so glad I decided to pop on here today. I forgot this came out. Hope it's as good as most of y'all are saying.

It's a really solid album. I've been spinning it all day and can't stop

Few cuts I could do without but the highlights here are among their best material. Disasters and Finalist in particular are top tier Touche jams

that intro/verse riff in Finalist gives me big rites of spring/embrace vibes, love it.

I wish they went back to Is Survived By producer I felt the mix was so dull on 1st listen

Mezzanine is the early standout on this. Really digging Altitude as well that I havn't seen anyone mention yet.

Nobody’s (ha) mentioning Force of Habit but I really fuck with that track. One of the better melodic cuts they’ve made imo

I've got mixed feelings towards Force of Habit. Altitude rules tho

they're back in my town in January next year, happy to see them again! I think some songs from this will sound great live.

Have a new appreciation for Hal Ashby lately, good song

most albums are growers so hopefully this is as well, but on first listen, it just felt kind of awkward throughout.

One thing I will say is Jeremy still has the smoke. His lyrics have always been fire but first hearing Nobory’s I thought his voice was shot. It might still be but he’s great here imo

^ agreed.

also yea it took like 13 full listens for this to grow on me lol, but I really love the way it flows now. Only song that still feels a bit awkward is Force of Habit (maybe This Routine also).
