Great album! The run from "BROKEN SPIRES..." to "GREY RUBBLE" + the vinyl exlcusive track stand out to me at the moment. I love the overall vibe and the melodies of the album. Much of it reminds me of Yanqui, which is really great.

"I feel like if the political ideology wasn’t attached to this no one would bat an eye at it but that’s just me"
I feel like I couldn't give any less of a shit about their political ideology if I tried, but that's just me. I'm only vaguely aware of their stance due to people on the internet bringing it up way more frequently than is perhaps warranted

"The situation in Gaza is more of a humanitarian crisis and should not be a political stance."
nope it has always been a political issue

how one can conclude the Gaza situation isn't political is completely beyond my comprehension, but alas I shall not dwell on such things. A GY!BE thread is not the place for discourse of this nature...
or is it?
(no, no it is not!)
I regret.

The left wants everything to be political.

Yeah, in theory the situation in Gaza is a humanitarian crisis, catastrophe, tragedy. But then, all sides are using it and the plight of the people there to foster their political agendas and the largest humanitarian actor is too intertwined with one of the conflict parties. That makes it difficult to see this as the humanitarian disaster it is without the political context.

What's the difference between a humanitarian crisis and a political one here, is a humanitarian one something that just accidentally happens or what lol. I think there might be a government consciously, belligerently committing human rights abuses in every arab direction.

The way people will bend over backwards and contort themselves sideways to avoid having to admit that genocide and militaristic invasions don't just fall out of the sky is astounding. These are decisions that people have to make, decisions that politically motivated.

you know climate change is mostly a myth, don't be daft Johnny
it's just another way for the super-rich to sell us renewable 'solutions' at 10x the cost where the actual affects thereof will damage the planet in the long term, thus causing and accelerating these 'changes' they speak of - genius marketing when you think about it

Assuming this is an anti-Hamas album?
