"Really love picturing the people that get on here to roll up their sleeves crack their knuckles and come into these threads with "gimmick band" "imagine dragons metal lol" and contribute nothing else.
You're really out here killing it, thank god the niche music fan community as a whole has you out here putting in the hard work and regurgitating the most brainless takes, because someone has to. Wish I had been smart enough to realize this band was just a gimmick all along smh"
Wow everyone look at how smart this guy is

I do believe that there's always a margin for nuance when criticizing something that's arguably bad, and just slapping labels to a band that has at this point released it's fourth album is really counterproductive. But whatever, people will do as they please. That's why some people will review stuff and others will just comment on that review, lol.

I dont know if it's just me. But when you try to sound like Slipknot, Sam Smith, Mort Garson, Queens of the Stoneage, a generic blues band, a generic gospel whatever and Blueneck in the same album and fail at everything. Maybe it's time to quit music

Disagree with you about the last half of the album, but great write up! I don't know what I was expecting as I picked it up off a "best black metal albums of 2024" but I loved the avant gard feel to some of the tracks, and the sparse use of shrieks lifted the back end of the songs they were used on.
Really liked this album for sure.

Possibly the worst album ever coincidentally made by the worst band ever.
