The hooks aren’t as pronounced I guess, but I still think there’s plenty of them.

Good though not great.
Billy Corgan's voice lost its bite a few decades ago

Wow I was for sure not expecting this album to be as good as it is. Within the first few tracks I knew we were in very different territory from the last several mediocre SP albums. This will be the first album of theirs since probably Adore that will get repeated spins by me.

Billy is too focussed on pro wrestling to be pumping out bangers.

Bill should just hit the juice and compete for the title ffs. his finishing move is the full frontal scrotal slap, a corgan family tradition. Bill slappin nuts and winning prizes.

people who listen to an album once only to say its not catchy are so cooked lmao.
let it grow on you, jam it a couple times, not just once.
thats the beauty of music, your experience changes a lot.

I have never actually listened to a full smashing pumpkins album, but have spun this a few times front to back... this is really really interesting and cool.
I should probably be skewered for this, but I strangely get some Coheed and Cambria vibes out of this without the corniness and sleaze that their more recent output has had.
