I love Isis. Even though I prefer Oceanic to this, Panopticon is a godly album.

Panopticon > Oceanic
Yeah, but it's really close.

Oceanic is clearly a better album. It's much more powerful than Panopticon. It makes more of an impact on the listener than Panopticon. Though Panopticon is still an incredibly fantastic album, I just think that Oceanic has it beat because it's more of a crushing, impactful listen. It also has both heavy and soft parts, while Panopticon I felt like developed the softer parts perfectly, didn't have the heavy parts down as well.

It makes more of an impact on the listener than Panopticon hbp is IN OUR MINDS!

I think their sound was really at a pinnacle during Panopticon. Oceanic definitely hit the heavier parts, but heavy =/= good automatically.
|
| |
I never said that and I was careful to avoid it

K, I just find that Panopticon is just a more refined sound for them.
|

But softer also =/= refined.

Oceanic doesn't have a single moment that rivals In Fiction for the heavy aspects, sorry.
HBP, shouldn't you be doing your pre-algebra homework?
|
| |
Shouldn't you be listening to the albums instead of just turning them on just to say that you did?
