Fantano 10 is well-earned but not surprising. It’s beautiful seeing the reception this thing is getting. Crash was definitely popular, but it’s satisfying seeing Charli’s weirder sider get so much praise that it can’t be denied.

this felt like an instant classic the second i finished it and fantano giving it a fucking 10 pretty much confirms it, no matter what you think of the guy
feels like both the right album at the right time and also a real coronation for an artist we'd all been rooting for for the better part of the decade. like she truly finally inarguably came through on the potential promised on stuff like vroom vroom and pop 2. people tried to make charli and hifn that release but nah thissss is the one.

I was trying my best to poke holes in this album because it was essentially an an instant 5 (or 10 on that scale) for me, but repeated listens only reinforced how much I enjoyed EVERYTHING here. It's so satisfying to see the breakthrough to universal acclaim to THIS degree upon release after basically everything since POP (except crash) toying with that notion but falling thiiiiiiis short. This was the easiest outcome to root for
