Can't say there's no sort of innovation on here at all but a lot of this style has been done by the likes of Jane Remover, underscores and dynastic, still love the album but BMTH definitely didn't invent a new genre or anything, though I'd imagine this sounding fresh and inspiring for a lot of young people

"how does this have a 3.45 on rym lmao"

Because it's RYM? They love pop and hip-hop more than anything else over there

@oisincoleman i’m glad you mentioned underscores because I was just thinking about them while listening to this. I love their music a lot (especially boneyard aka fearmonger) which is maybe why I’m getting along with this album more than I anticipated

I enjoyed this review more than I enjoyed any given moment of the record.

Rating this 2.0 means there has been some serious disconnect between reality of what BMTH is and expectations of the author.

This is a pretty anti-sputnik album, so I get why most here would dislike it

I think the people that dislike this are just much more vocal about it honestly.

I definitely would've preferred a less snarky review with more actual analysis but it's kinda funny

There is a hell is my favorite album from these guys.

I wish this was a tad more focused like Post Human: Survival Horror was, but this is fun. Nothing more, nothing less. Amen is such a jam, I'll take anything with Daryl Palumbo's aggressiveness.
