yeah, song sucks but it is absolutely perfect for that corny shit that is the Moore era. Casino Royale is by far the best bond movie tho imo. I think everyone glazing Connery era movies are wearing like five pairs of rose tinted glasses.
Dr No is decent at best, admittedly, FRWL is phenomenal and one of my favorite Bond movies, but I find Goldfinger to be overrated. Thunderball is fine, You Only Live Twice is mid, and Diamonds Are Forever is complete garbage and easily the worst EON Connery film.
keep in mind I’m talking a lot of shit but I fucking adore every Bond film. I’m just talking from like a more adult perspective and viewing them more as a critic. Love Goldfinger, love Dr. No etc etc
Having said that, I much prefer Timothy Dalton and Craig’s take on the character.
Gun to my head… it goes:
1. Craig
2. Dalton
3. Connery
4. Brosnan (solely for Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies, the last two are trash)
5. Lazenby
6. Moore

Bond, as a whole, is a silly film franchise. I liked casino royale but found the extended ending a mess. The follow-ups were mid to atrocious. Tbf I saw thunderball about a year ago and thought it held up well for a goofy 60's spy movie. I like Dalton's era the best though
