Unlike Pleasure To Kill, this album is more complex and varied. Fortunately Ventor sang for the last time here, what a bad vocalist he was. He should just stick to drums.

You may only hear the bass when they do a bass/drum kind of intro thing, but if it wasn't there you'd think the production would be shit, it's what many people don't understand.

Want to listen to great thrash where bass is prominent ? Flotsam & Jetsam's first album, Metallica picked Jason out of the band, which they survived in quality only for another album, or the 3 first Sadus albums.

One Of Us is one massive song I always think of when thinking of Terrible Certainty, including that song itself which is so goddamn evil sounding.

Found an original copy of this on vinyl the other day. Jamming it now and forgot how hard this band riffs. This is a contender for my favourite Kreator tbh.

The more i listen to this the more i am flawed by how quickly these guys matured their sound. Endless pain and pleasure to kill both rule, both have that run away freight train chaos feel to them but then this was a massive step forward compositionally and in terms of the bands playing. Before they were just thrashing as hard and as fast as they could (not exactly a bad thing), wheras here each riff is like a razor sharp laser guided missile.

in my first band we did some thrash metal covers, title track of this album was one of them. one of the guitarists really hated thrash for some reason, but he loved that song. probably because how "melodic" its riffs were.

This one seems less popular than their other early output...

This is their black sheep album which is a shame because it's awesome.

Surprised to see the modern stuff (barring Violent Revolution and the recent one) with more votes than this and Endless Pain.
