Not every album or band needs to be groundbreaking or genre-defining to be worth listening to. There is a value to straight forward, no frills, well-executed death metal. No this band isn’t going to be in the back of your mind begging to be played, but the same can be said of so much of the genre. This is well above par for death metal.

Oh I’m 100% with y’all that this doesn’t quite level up to how much great DM is dropping this year, but I still don’t find it offensive in any way. It’s pretty great to me.
