Yeah, Goremaggedon is probably their best.

There is no reason to listen to this over Terrasite. Cattle Decap have way more varied and engaging vocals, and they are just as heavy as what Aborted bring to the table. Also I found Cattle have much more memorable riffing overall.

The problem is this album is just painfully generic within this genre. It's like everything here is just at the most average bar possible. Everything is solid but nothing stands out. Just so forgettable.

have you heard more than 3 brutal dm/deathgrind albums?

I've heard the likes of Revocation and Archspire and they have way more unique qualities. Both those bands vocals are pretty standout, but with Aborted they are just generic and too ordinary. They just don't standout at all.

two technical death metal bands? please stop speaking on a genre you clearly have no clue about. you do this all the time and it's embarrassing.

Revocation is pretty brutal dm. Anyways, yeah I don't really know much deathgrind, I will hear some more and see if my opinion changes.

they are not and have never been a brutal dm band. but yes seek more and don't make broad generalizations on a genre you haven't listened to. check suffocation for starters.

Tundra is inexperienced with the genre. Even if that is the case, nothing wrong with this album in any way.

Don't like this at all. Overproduced deathcore-adjacent drum machine grind.

This album kinda makes me feel like I need to reassess DM across the board. I like it a lot more than I'd have expected. Think I've been unfairly judging so many of these bands by their insistence on gross album covers and endlessly derivative logos.
