this feels like it doesn't commit to much of anything

dig that tracklist @feather
most of her EP's felt more worthy being fleshed out into a full album than this
|
| |
Glad you liked it, honestly I think I would cut it deeper. While I think longer and attic are fine, if you cut them the remaining 4 have a good consistent ep sound:
1. Church Outfit
2. Knockoff
3. Hard
10. Motorbike
Yes, I realize these are basically just the singles lol

Just relistened to I disagree in full for the first time in a couple years and that albums scale is so much grander than her last two releases. Makes this being half baked 10x more apparent.

I actually think this took the longest of all her albums to grow on me. It's definitely not a 2.7.

Motorbike rulesss
But yes I Disagree is clearly her best record
|
| |
probably true but it still sucks toes
the EAT ep is still the only Poppy that matters and I doubt that will ever change

I still am not feeling the vision she was going for with this and my opinion towards the tracks here has not changed. Singles 'Knockoff' and 'Motorbike' are shining through this mess but they sound like songs destined for an album that never came into fruition.
And since the EAT EP came into the discussion, while I like it, I wouldn't claim it as the best project she's created (Flux takes that #1 spot for me, though I Disagree comes close).

also, she collaborated with Bad Omens back in January and 'V.A.N' is waaay better than anything offered here

New song is better than anything on this thankfully

So, Poppy has just gone full on metalcore with her newest track. Not quite at the chaotic anger level of EAT, but it’s a banger nonetheless. Think I might like it more than New Way Out

There's even a blegh
Poppy goes Archutects
edit: ah it's produced by Jordan Fish

They're All Around Us is pretty dope

i couldn't believe how hard she went on the new track. some of her most vicious sounding screams ever
|
| |
Unbelievably hard. Poppy's always been at her best when she embraces the metal/metalcore-adjacent stuff, it's been like that since X dropped way back

agreed. I still like some of her other softer stuff, it's just a lot more hit & miss. she almost always slays the heavier stuff though.
feel like on the new song she was trying to match the intensity she did on the knocked loose ft
|
| |
Her uncleans have noticeably improved since I Disagree. I am definitely down for more stuff in the vein of the Knocked Loose ft because that went HARD
|
| |
yeah i fw this new track hard
