Here from Ghandis list! Duel is a masterpiece. Think I may prefer the debut slightly but both are fantastic

Giving this a go- the lyrics to "Blowin' Cool" are very familiar, did Shiner interpolate it somewhere or something? Google search doesn't return it but I swear I've heard some of these lyrics lol. If not Shiner, maybe Failure?

I was just about to say: "Or mayyybe The Life and Times?" as I looked at my comment I just posted and what do you know, it's a song off of TLAT's "Suburban Hymns" which I'm apparently currently "digging" lol (how does that even work? does it just last for a set amount of time?).
The song is Charlotte Street. Pretty sure it is in fact an interpolation and not just coincidence.

Incidentally, this is the most 90's album cover of all time
|
| |
This band conjures up images of that Road Rash game... and sure enough one of their tracks was in it... lmao.
I used to absolutely love that game, but I was like 6 years old. I don't really remember any of the soundtrack somehow (obviously these days I'm familar with / a fan of Soundgarden who was heavily featured in the game), but I do remember the game like I played it yesterday
Anyway I just found it pretty hilarious / crazy how I connected this band and that game in my mind, and it ended up being the case that it was for good reason. That game was so 90's too, lol

I don't want to distract from the riveting anecdote I wrote up in my previous comment, but the song I was referring to in that comment, Last Train to Satansville, knocks pretty good.
Maybe some of it is subconscious nostalgia because I surely heard this repeatedly when I was ~6 years old, but still
