On their 3rd as well, I'm going backwards. Judging by I Am Nothing and For My Demons I expected this to be slightly less engaging Last Fair Deal, but this is stale beyond my assumptions. I will see how my perception changes upon reading the lyrics, because what I could make out from hearing saved some tracks in my eyes (ears?).

i didnt know they had a cover song on here either which is a bummer. i really dislike enjoying a song for years, thinking the band made it, only to find out it was just a cover song

that is one thing i need to do with most songs is read the lyrics. sometimes i just cannot understand what they are saying.

City Burials is by far their worst imo and the only album of theirs that I truly can't stand. New one is boring, but its not awful.

Honestly I love this band but they should've stayed on hiatus after The Fall of Hearts, all the albums they dropped from city burials onwards feel very phoned in.

STATUS UPDATE: I like this.

i honestly really enjoyed city burials. his voice was the best it had ever been. and the music/choruses stood out alot. sky void of stars i heard once and his voice was a total step down. that album seemed phoned in for sure. have to relisten of course. i have yet to hear the newest album though
