AnimalJam is doing the whole Swancore thing better than all these bands and they’re not associated with them.

Satyr are way more Fall of Troy/Protest the Hero/Coheed with a singer that sounds like the dude from Emery. I don't think they write particularly catchy songs, but I like their footing better than any new swancore band.

Agreed on FoT for Satyr, I just wish they put their technical skill to more memorable songs. Decent foundation at least.

I relate to this review on a spiritual level. It's such a shame they didn't take a step forward on their second record.
I'm personally going through Swancore burnout and I'm even starting to despise HTS, lowkey needed a new good album and had high hopes for this one...
On another note, football season is almost here huh.

Give it another year or two and I think that will resolve itself lol
I still enjoy HTS but if the new album is more of the same, i might get a bit weary. They've still got strong hooks and an ability to throw down that these guys simply do not have. I can't recall a single chorus here.
