this album is amazing, the definitve hendrix album and my personal favorite

whenever someone is routinely praised for their skill at an instrument their music is usually sort of boring or lackluster

his best songwriting is one axis, castles made of sand and little wing are masterpieces

i didnt listen to it that much but i remember "if 6 was 9" being my favorite
