Pleasantly surprised to see a staff review of De Staat.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I have been keeping "Danger" in my regular rotation over the past few weeks.

The synth melodies on this are all fucking addicting, "Danger" certainly being strong in its own right.

He's never been like a 'great' vocalist, but the man oozes charisma, especially in a live setting.



The dancing is the best part ;(

See, that’s where it loses me. I’d be fine if the vocals weren’t great if i felt that charisma, but it doesn’t come through for me. Dude sounds belligerent and boisterous, but not particularly charming to me
