I think it achieved what you want any good biopic to do, and that’s giving the viewer a taste of the magic that made him such a magnetic figure, which I think the Elvis movie also did a really good job of doing. I was mostly calling it tame because of the particular slices of life it focused on, which is fine, but you’re right I guess I should wait to see what the sequel hits.
