I like the whole song. The first couple minutes sound like every other LDR song ever but in the context of the rest of the song it’s an interesting progression.

I imagine “Paris” came about when SYML’s og track came up on someones spotify playlist and Lana drunkenly sang “Venice California” in time with the piano (at that one random point where she just drops it in her version) and was baffled





To her credit she totally smooths over that sudden tone change in the instrumental version’s bridge
