I tried looking up their socials lately and the only new thing I see is these dudes put out some sort of rock tribute release: https://heartsdesire.bandcamp.com/album/hearts-desire

Listening to it now and you can hear the influences for sure, it kinda sounds like one of the songs from that split album they did with Worm...

It's interesting but overall not really my thing. Definitely need a proper new release from Dream Unending ASAP

Thinking on it some more after finding this rock album they did, I would not be surprised if Dream Unending made a much bigger leap into this prog-rock direction like they did on the Worm split.

A pretty similar thing happened with Tomb Mold, they put out a small EP with a relatively prog song and then their next album they really diverged from pure osdm
