This album is so great. Bumped my rating up a bit as I still cannot stop listening. "Liar" is goated.

Yeah this album is incredible. The 1-2 punch of Liar and Chainlife gets me every time.
By far one of my favorite new discoveries in a long time when I found them last year.

Didn’t think I’d ever see it happen but they’re actually headlining my city, really wondering who they’ll have opening but I’m stoked! Def gonna snag some tickets on Friday.

Sweet. They were phenomenal when I saw them with Converge last year. Band is kinda underrated tbh

does the vocalist still play drums live? I found this displeasing as it's a logistically unappealing live set-up that doesn't lend itself to a lot of energy - I feel like if they had an alternative live drummer so the lass could bounce around on stage a bit more (if she so chooses to), that'd make for a more invigorating experience. Their sound is so high energy, that the contrast was a little odd
They did SOUND great mind

Can't say I agree with Demon. When i saw them I was on the floor only like 2 people away from being right in front of the drummer, and I was in awe the whole time.
Her presence and energy was next level, and her subtle love her use of windchimes really added to the whole experience. I have a hard time imagining them without her playing drums.

yeah, I mean she still had an energy about her, it’s just hard to do your thing in that regard when half of your main job requires sitting down almost all of the time
personal preference perhaps

Yeah completely agree gmember. I don’t really see people going hard in the pit for this band anyways.
It’s also just so rare for a band like this to have a drummer/vocalist so it’s kinda a nice change of pace from the shows I normally go to.

Desert Rain is an absolute banger. The criticisms about the more tame nature of this album are understandable, but I find it really balanced. It's good to see a momentum towards gradual change from early on, you can only do the same thing for so long til lit gets tiring.
