Kinda sounds like a less interesting person's imitation of a mountain goats album. Maybe it'll grow on me. Kinda stopped listening after dragons, but john is my goat so I'm finally checking this out

@Aids theres ~some~ other stuff discussed, but yeah definitely leans more on heavier music

I'm not a huge MG fan to begin with, but I've heard most of their big releases and the new one stood out to me. It's easily inside my top 12 of this year.
