I liked the new track. Only gripe was that I wish the chorus was heavier, but I second half of the song was sick.

Did not expect them to lean so heavily into the metal aspect. Sounds great, hope they play it live next month

Sounds like a threesome between ATR, Breaking Benjamin and Spiritbox.

Seeing these guys on Saturday at Sonic Temple. Havnt heard much from them other than seeing them live for BMTH's Sempiternal tour ~2014. They were the opener before Chiodos/ADTR/BMTH.

Listened a bit this morning to this album and was a bit surprised to find it sounds quite a bit like Falling in Reverse lol

Hype for the new one tbh. Still gotta jam this, gonna do that today.

I think it’s a bit cheesy for its own good at times, but I’d say it’s their most consistent since the debut. Good album

Definitely the best since the debut, but still not anywhere near that level. Pretty good stuff though.

@Brabiz definitely cheesy, but a fun consistent listen, so I am actually excited to check them out

I’d agree, yeah. I think these new singles are fantastic, but I’m so used to this band releasing promising singles which call back to their glory days, then the rest of the album is like “I’m a fucking werewolf awoooo, we’re the fallen ones” in the style of Breaking Benjamin

^ lol yeah... there is definitely a reason they put these guys on the same day and stage as BVB

Yes, Werewolf is a Breaking Benjamin song agreed lol ( /s ). Might be my favourite of this record tbh.

Let me be clear, however. I really like Breaking Benjamin. I moreso take issue with the ridiculous “we are the forgotten ones, we will rise up” lyricism that comes and goes in MiW’s albums post-Creatures.

Makes it feel like they’re dipping into Falling In Reverse’s playbook. Especially when paired with the ooky spooky elements

Eh, I think lyrics here are fine. They are not that vague, obviously politically tinted on this one which I think is nice. Better than just talking about a general enemy, be it your ex, your boss, or your president lol.

But focussing on the lyrics of a band in this genre is not the best to do anyway haha
