This was very much my experience although Eupnea is a very special gem for me that this one will never quite touch, I think that also lead to me judging this one a little too harshly out the gate and a huge portion of it grew on me a lot.
Screaming Sideways fuckin rips, sharp left turns are great and do not always = messy songwriting.

This band's vocal blend all over their discog is pure fucking magic and shouldn't be allowed for human ears.
The opening harmonies on the Eupnea title track send me to fuckin Jupiter every single time.

Also rly hasn't been landing for me but I feel like Chloe's replacement is doing a fine job/isn't to blame. It's just retreading a lot of ground/feels like it's trying hard to go back to The Dark Third sound but we already have that very long and great record and idk, nothing terrible but not a lot to keep me coming back when the last 3 records all exist and have been so great.

She's doing fine, performance wise I don't think the project suffered much, but composition wise, this last album is pretty unremarkable. None of the songs stuck with me. I don't know, guess I'll give it another chance.
