Some catchy stuff here but there's no depth or staying power at all. You get all there is to get pretty quickly and it doesn't really feel worth coming back to.

""What Do You Want From Me" gives me serious late-90s/early-2000s NIN"
I would say it sounds like a HEALTH track, even Noah vocals in the verse sounds the same as Jake.

man, the bad decisions hate got me sad. i think it's the best slower song on here but it is The Weeknd worship (which I don't mind).

What Do You Want From Me is Health vocals and drum beats over NIN synth and TDS/The Fragile NIN guitar. It's so strange, but I dig it.
Overall, cutting Just Pretend, Who are you?, and Somebody else. would make this album so much better.

really enjoy this record but it has 3 bad tracks that should've been tossed asap. love everything else. cut the 3 i mentioned above and bumped ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE behind bad decisions on a playlist and it makes for a much better listen.

I'm a core-boy so most moody alt-rock / pop albums don't hold my interest all the way though because they drag (for me), and this has that extra third gear of cathartic heavy moments. They basically delivered the pop rock album I've always wanted to hear with this. Sure it's a little generic and a little butt-rocky, but the overall execution feels fresh and I feel like it was designed with listeners just like me in mind so thanks bad omens
