This is the only Regina I've got, and I really like it, the quirkiness is great. What would you recommend getting next?

soviet kitsch is better than this

Far sounds fairly similar. I don't think Soviet Kitsch is as good as "true" fans think it is.

damn this is good

damn she's overrated though

really ive actually felt like, though she has some core insane fans (who doesn't), she's actually not as respected by the -true- tastemakers as she should be

I never really liked Regina Spektor until I heard Samson. Then I fell in love.

There are days that I want to drop this to a 3.5. Far was the first time I heard one of her albums completely, then I moved on to this... It's so awesome, yet not as much as my kind of awesome as Far is.

i definitely like this a lot less than i used to. i really like the first three songs (not sure why so many people hate on "better", that song is great), but a lot of it is just sort of flat. "hotel song" has terrible production

Summer in the City repeatedly blows my mind with its brutal honesty. And from a male perspective nonetheless.

Heard this for the first time. No Fiona Apple, but still pretty good
