Another example of such:

"I had never even seen a shooting star before. 25 years of rotations, passes through comets'

paths, and travel, and to my memory I had never witnessed burning debris scratch across the

night sky. Conrad Tao was hunched over his instrument."

The one thing that makes me upset is that if I hadn’t been so distracted with my personal life and my poetry, I could’ve broken [Chemtrails Over the Country Club] down in a more delicate, precise way. I guess the way I could’ve done that is just by adding one more defining song to it. Right now it’s really, really good, but I don’t know if it’s perfect, and that really bothers me. I think I need to add that song, “Dealer”, where I’m just screaming my head off. People don’t know what it sounds like when I yell. And I do yell.

Black Bathing Suit / If You Lie Down With Me / Beautiful / Violets for Roses / Dealer might be the strongest run of LDR songs I've heard

true, I relistened to Thunder and it should be lumped in with that remarkable run

I feel like if I keep listening, I'll just say the whole album is the best stretch ;-)

This and Ultraviolence are virtually tied for my #2 Lana

I never got the hype for BTD and thought basically everything that wasn't a single was filler

Ultraviolence and Honeymoon are great
Just skip Lust For Life...

Sowing, I think that Born to Die is her weakest album too. I understand how "important" it was in terms of shaping and influencing contemporary pop music but there were several fillers on it.

Blue Banisters has great repeat value. Every time I return to it I discover something new. There are so many details I really love. For example: Beautiful and Sweet Carolina's expressive, playful and richly textured piano; Thunder's haunting strings and slow build-up; Text Book's intricate production and tempo changes; Violets for Roses and Nectar of the Gods' harmonies; If You Lie Down With Me's invigorating outro; Blue Banisters' diaristic lyrics and ambient spacey soundscape; the distorted drums at the end of Wildflower Wildfire serving as a "transition" of sorts to the very raw last quarter of the album.

And, yeah, Black Bathing Suit and Dealer are not only her two most experimental tracks but also two of her greatest to date.

BTD Paradise Edition is pretty solid. Better than Honeymoon or Lust for Life

Well, Sowing was right, this is really good apart from couple of tracks. Very interesting record, probably her most unique sounding one. Will give it more listens for sure
