so many things I disagree with on the last page I don't know where to start. I'll just agree yea album is a warm hug, especially Phoenix, Magnolia and Brycie

Brycie is def a highlight on this, and there are certainly many moments the guys in BRM shine, but i think the features feel kinda gimmicky and too many of the songs arent memorable enough. At least for me. Had high hopes for this but it feels incredibly flat

Phoenix and brycie are nice too yeah. Magnolia, both t-swidt songs, and most of the rest (outside of latter days and June's a river)

Phoenix is nice but the chorus got old real fast for me

I'm enjoying this. The tracklist could've probably been trimmed a bit, but definitely will be spending some time with this one.

Was a bit worried that this would drop to a 3.5 for me, but starting to settle as a 4

diving into this. Justin's voice is pretty much my favorite thing ever so I think I'll dig anything it's a part of

YoYo - I’m thinking Justin should have sung over a couple more of these songs

for anyone hurting that there's not more JV on this (altho mathematically, he sings on more songs here than there are songs on BRM1 but I digress) I'm 99% certain they have another album's worth of stuff on the backburner that's largely/entirely Justin
Aaron said they had enough material for a double album but cut it down, and Justin's played a bunch of songs on IG that didn't make this with plenty of his vox. whether they release it anytime soon is another thing

Good thing they didnt make a double album tbh

on my first listen and my immediate thoughts are: reece would be a better opener than latter days (which i am not a fan of), and then going from vernon to pecknold kinda makes me feel like I’m listening to a playlist instead of an album
|
| |
Latter days is the best song without question

I dunno, it feels like a bit of a bon iver pastiche, if that’s possible considering it is vernon, I prefer your brycies and hutches and renegades
