"In all honesty I like the album, but it's too much fun dissing on Cage haha"
accordant level of effortpost:
i'm empathetic to a fault, but that has nothing to do with me thinking their songwriting is weak af now. it's insufferably cheesy, like i'm actually shocked that people on sputnik don't mock it, people usually pounce on rly corny overly grandiose crap like ghosteen. but idk that logic of yours just confuses me in general lol. like i'm supposed to feel sorry for him and thus think the albums are great?
bet
facile conflation of grief with themes of love, solidarity, transfiguration, and many others as explored in distinct ways across all three albums
jaded conflation of cheesiness and cringe with and erudite emotional sincerity (aka huge cringe)

idk what he's even getting at. an empathetic person can't criticize songwriting?

Objective considerations of contemporary phenomena compel the conclusion that success or failure in competitive activities exhibits no tendency to be commensurate with innate capacity, but that a considerable element of the unpredictable must invariably be taken into account.

The capacity of human intelligence seems to limit the capabilities to expand upon any possible creative aptitudes. Indeed, if one cannot even notice the facets that the ingenuities around him are comprised of, how can he be expected to fashion a beast of his own? This inveterate sense of constraint is a great blow to the veracity of mankind’s abilities. It restrains us and holds our minds to the ground below, averting any possibility of rising above ourselves to something greater; something not fathomed by the conventional mind. This concept of seeking to go beyond one’s self, known as “transcendence”, is essentially a gateway to unlocking pieces of ourselves that can lead to some of the most elaborate and significant creations of our world. For many, this quest to transcend and form creations that were once considered unthinkable and overwhelming consumes life. Certainly it is rare to find such people, but when they are found, creative barriers are destroyed.

Lol Who else is here for thinking: 'that's an interesting cover artwork for progressive power metal, gonna take a closer look!'

Lastfm is all over the place with this project and the power metal band, which is Lost Horizon.
It's not even the same name, man.
